Ok, don't laugh at my simple, 1st attempt at scrap booking. We wanted to give each of the boy's and their new spouses a visible genealogy of the Workman family.
So Stan & I sorted a Ton of old photographs. That was the hardest part. Filter out who was who, and how they were related.
Then came the decision on which pictures to use and which to leave out. Since we starting in 1902, I wanted to stick with black and whites all the way through. I did have to make an exception on one for a family portrait. Of course when they get ready to add their wedding picture and children's pictures it will take on a whole new look. But Stan's old enough (~lol~) that we could keep the Black and Whites
At least I got to use some of my 15-LB's of Buttons!
We even got some cool pic's from family back in Holland. And I'm just loving the wedding gown couture!
You don't have to be an expert scrap-booker to throw together a quick genealogy book of your own. Don't overwhelm your self thinking you have to use all the pictures. Just pick one or two for a representation. No one wants to look at every single picture of Uncle Joe.
Of course Eric & Andria have theirs, so it's no secret now to the other two that they will be receiving theirs. However, I did point out the benefit of not receiving the 1st book. The next one will be even better, because now I have a CRICUT!!!
LOL! ~ Ciao!
